Procedure: Adding a Conference Attended

Introduction

The Conference Attended sub-category provides for a comprehensive listing of various conferences attended.

This may include conferences at which papers or workshops were either presented or hosted.

If one has been invited to a conference, then it may still be captured in this sub-category as well as in the Invitations to Conferences sub-category.

Each entry is listed by Conference (Title) and Dates. There is no restriction on the total number of entries you may add.

Each Conferences Attended entry requires at least a Conference Title to be entered.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

  2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Conferences Attended sub-category.

  3. The Researcher Profiles – Conferences Attended page opens.

Adding a conference attended entry

  1. The Add a Conference Attended dialog box appears.

Saving and adding another a conference attended entry, if applicable

  1. The Researcher Profiles – Conferences Attended page reopens.

  2. Click the up / down arrows under Change order to sort the Conferences Attended listing by priority.
