Procedure: Adding a Formal Course entry

Introduction

The Formal Course entry provides for the listing of formal courses taught at institutions, identified by course code, title and years, which are all required fields.

The Course Convenorship check box provides for the information entered to be copied across to the subsequent Course Convenorship sub-category. There is no restriction on the total number of entries you may add.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

  2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Courses Taught sub-category.

  3. The Researcher Profiles – Courses Taught page opens.

Adding a formal course entry

  1. The Add a Formal Course Entry dialog box appears.

Saving a formal course entry

  1. The Researcher Profiles – Courses Taught page reopens.

  2. If necessary, click rp_updownarrows.gifup / down arrows under Change order to sort the Formal Courses listings by priority.
