Procedure: Adding a Public Appointment

Introduction

The Public Appointments sub-category provides the facility to list various public appointment positions that one may have held.

Public Appointments entries are listed by Appointment and Year/s.

Each Public Appointment entry requires a minimum of the Description field to be completed. There is no restriction on the total number of entries you may add.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

  2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Public Appointments sub-category.

  3. The Researcher Profiles – Public Appointments page opens.

Adding a public appointment

  1. The Add a Public Appointment dialog box appears.

Saving and adding another public appointment, if applicable

  1. The Researcher Profiles – Public Appointments page reopens.

  2. If necessary, click rp_updownarrows.gif up / down arrows under Change order to sort the Public Appointments listing by priority.
