The Engaged Scholarship sub-category is the area where one can list all instances of engaged scholarship that one has been involved in.
Each entry is listed by Activity Name, Keywords and Years.
There is no restriction on the total number of entries you may add.
The text relating to the activity description of the Engaged Scholarship is entered into the rich text Activity Description field.
Each Engaged Scholarship entry requires that the following fields are completed at least: Engaged Scholarship Type, Activity Name/Title or Keywords. Various relevant keywords can be entered in the Keywords field separated by space, comma or semicolon.
The Engaged Scholarship check box will be selected by default as this is an Engaged Scholarship entry.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Engaged Scholarship sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Engaged Scholarship page opens.
Click Add New under Engaged Scholarship.
The Add an Engaged Scholarship dialog box appears.
Select the engaged scholarship type from the Engaged Scholarship Type drop-down list field.
Enter the activity name/ title in the Activity Name/ Title field.
Select the year in the Year From drop-down list field.
Select the year in the Year To drop-down list field.
Enter the activity description in the Activity Description rich text field.
Enter the keywords, separated by space, comma or semicolon, in the Keywords field.
If you want to add another engaged scholarship entry, click Save & Add Another and repeat from Adding an engaged scholarship entry.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully saved.”
The Researcher Profiles – Engaged Scholarship page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Engaged
Scholarship listing by
priority.
