Procedure: Adding an Other Professional Experience entry

Introduction

The Other Professional Experience sub-category is where any other professional experience, not yet already covered by the previous sub-categories, may be listed.

Each entry is listed by Title and Keywords. There is no restriction on the total number of entries you may add.

The text relating to the description of the Other Professional Experience is entered into the rich text Description/Comment field

Each Other Professional Experience entry requires at least a Title or Keywords to be entered. An assortment of relevant keywords can be entered in the Keywords field separated by space, comma or semicolon.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

  2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Other Professional Experience sub-category.

  3. The Researcher Profiles – Other Professional Experience page opens.

Adding an other professional experience entry

  1. The Add an Other Professional Experience dialog box appears.

Saving and adding another other professional experience entry, if applicable

  1. The Researcher Profiles – Other Professional Experience page reopens.

  2. Click the up / down arrows under Change order to sort the Other Professional Experience listing by priority.
