The Other Teaching Activities/Commentaries entry provides for the listing of all other courses taught which do not fall into the previous category. There is no restriction on the total number of entries you may add.
Each Other Teaching Activities/Commentaries entry requires a minimum of a Title to be entered. An assortment of relevant keywords can be entered in the Keywords field. The text relating to the description of the activity itself supports rich text and you may apply formatting such as bold / italics /underline / strikethrough / alignment / subscript / superscript / bullets / numbering / indentation / special characters.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Courses Taught sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Courses Taught page opens.
Click Add New under Other Teaching Activities / Commentaries.
Enter the title in the Title field.
Enter the text in the Activity/Commentary rich text field.
Enter keywords, separated by space, comma or semicolon, in the Keywords field.
If this falls into the category of engaged scholarship, ensure that the Engaged Scholarship check box is selected.
If you want to add another teaching activity / commentary entry, click Save & Add Another and repeat from step 4.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully saved.”
The Researcher Profiles – Courses Taught page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Other Teaching
Activities / Commentaries listings
by priority.
