Procedure: Deleting a Conference Attended

Introduction

Existing Conferences Attended entries may be deleted, if required.  

Conferences Attended entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

Each Conferences Attended entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Conferences Attended sub-category.

3. The Researcher Profiles – Conferences Attended page opens displaying the Conferences Attended listing.

• Click Delete at the end of the Conferences Attended entry you wish to delete.

4. A message dialog box confirms: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”

5. Click OK to delete this entry.

5. The Researcher Profiles – Conferences Attended page reopens.

• The deleted entry is removed from the Conferences Attended listing.
