Procedure: Deleting a Professional Membership

Introduction

Existing Professional Memberships entries may be deleted, if required.  

Professional Memberships entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CV’s and displaying on websites.

Each Professional Memberships entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Professional Memberships  sub-category.

3. The Researcher Profiles – Professional Memberships  page opens displaying the Professional Memberships listing.

• Click Delete at the end of the Professional Memberships entry you wish to delete.

4. A message dialog box confirms: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”

5. Click OK to delete this entry.

5. The Researcher Profiles – Professional Memberships page reopens.

• The deleted entry is removed from the Professional Memberships listing.
