Procedure: Deleting a Research Collaborator

Introduction

• Existing Research Collaborator entries may be deleted if required.  

• Research Collaborator entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

• Each Research Collaborator entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Research Collaborators sub-category.

3. The Researcher Profiles – Research Collaborators page opens displaying the Research Collaborators listings.

Deleting a research collaborator entry

• Click Delete next to the Research Collaborator entry you wish to delete.

4. A message dialog box confirms: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”

5. Click OK to delete this entry.

5. The Researcher Profiles – Research Collaborators page reopens.

6. The deleted entry is removed from the Research Collaborators listing.
