Procedure: Deleting an Honours and Awards entry

Introduction

Existing Honours and Awards entries may be deleted, if required.  

Honours and Awards entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

Each Honours and Awards entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Honours and Awards  sub-category.

3. The Researcher Profiles – Honours and Awards page opens displaying the Honours and Awards listing.

• Click Delete at the end of the Honours and Awards entry you wish to delete.

4. A message dialog box confirms: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”

5. Click OK to delete this entry.

5. The Researcher Profiles – Honours and Awards page reopens.

• The deleted entry is removed from the Honours and Awards listing.
