Procedure: Deleting Invitations to Conferences

Introduction

Existing Invitations to Conferences entries may be deleted, if required.  

Invitations to Conferences entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

Each Invitations to Conferences entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Invitations to Conferences sub-category.

3. The Researcher Profiles – Invitations to Conferences page opens displaying the Invitations to Conferences listing.

• Click Delete next to the Invitations to Conferences entry you wish to delete.

4. A message dialog box confirms: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”

5. Click OK to delete this entry.

5. The Researcher Profiles – Invitations to Conferences page reopens.

• The deleted entry is removed from the Invitations to Conferences listing.
