Procedure: Deleting Professional Activities

Introduction

Existing Professional Activities entries may be deleted, if required.  

Professional Activities entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

Each Professional Activities entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Professional Activities sub-category.

3. The Researcher Profiles – Professional Activities page opens displaying the Professional Activities listing.

• Click Delete at the end of the Professional Activities entry you wish to delete.

4. A message dialog box confirms: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”

5. Click OK to delete this entry.

5. The Researcher Profiles – Professional Activities page reopens.

• The deleted entry is removed from the Professional Activities listing.
