Existing Conference Organisation entries may be edited or updated if required.
Conference Organisation entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.
Each Conference Organisation entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour. This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Conference Organisation sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Conference Organisation page opens displaying the Conference Organisation listing.
Click
Edit next to the Conference
Organisation entry you wish to edit.
The Edit a Conference Organisation dialog box appears.
Edit the conference title in the Conference Title field.
Edit the conference location in the Location field.
Edit the conference date or date in the Date/s field.
Edit the role in the Role field.
Edit the conference website address in the Conference URL field.
If this falls into the category of engaged scholarship, ensure that the Engaged Scholarship check box is selected.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully updated.”
The Researcher Profiles – Conference Organisation page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Conference
Organisation listing by
priority.
