Procedure: Editing a Professional Position

Introduction

Existing Professional Position entries may be edited or updated if required.  

Professional Position entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

Each Professional Position entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

  2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Professional Positions sub-category.

  3. The Researcher Profiles – Professional Positions page opens displaying the Professional Positions listing.

Editing a professional position

  1. The Edit a Professional Position dialog box appears.

Saving the edited professional position

  1. The Researcher Profiles – Professional Positions page reopens.

  2. If necessary, click rp_updownarrows.gif up / down arrows under Change order to sort the Professional Positions listing by priority.
