Existing Professional Position entries may be edited or updated if required.
Professional Position entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.
Each Professional Position entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour. This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Professional Positions sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Professional Positions page opens displaying the Professional Positions listing.
Click
Edit next to the Professional
Positions entry you wish to edit.
The Edit a Professional Position dialog box appears.
Edit the role in the Role field.
Edit the society or organisation in the Society / Organisation field.
Edit the year or years in the Year/s field.
If this falls into the category of engaged scholarship, ensure that the Engaged Scholarship check box is selected.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully updated.”
The Researcher Profiles – Professional Positions page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Professional
Positions listing by
priority.
