Existing Public Appointment entries may be edited / updated if required.
Public Appointment entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.
Each Public Appointment entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour. This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Public Appointments sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Public Appointments page opens displaying the Public Appointments listing.
Click
Edit next to the Public
Appointments entry you wish to edit.
The Edit a Public Appointment dialog box appears.
Edit the year or years in the Year/s field.
Edit the description name in the Description field.
If this falls into the category of engaged scholarship, ensure that the Engaged Scholarship check box is selected.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully updated.”
The Researcher Profiles – Public Appointments page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Public
Appointments listing by
priority.
