Existing Research Funding Narrative entries may be edited / updated if required.
Research Funding Narrative entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.
Each Research Funding Narrative entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour. This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Research Funding sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Research Funding page opens displaying the Research Funding Narrative listings.
Click
Edit next to the Research
Funding Narrative entry you wish to edit.
The Edit a Research Funding Narrative Entry dialog box appears displaying the fields and their entries, edit as applicable.
Edit the title in the Title field.
Edit a description or summary in the Description / Summary field.
Edit keywords, separated by space, comma or semicolon, in the Keywords field.
If this falls into the category of engaged scholarship, ensure that the Engaged Scholarship check box is selected.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully updated.”
The Researcher Profiles – Research Funding page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Research
Funding listing by
priority.
