Existing Honours and Awards entries may be edited / updated if required.
Honours and Awards entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.
Each Honours and Awards entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour. This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Honours and Awards sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Honours and Awards page opens displaying the Other Professional Experience listing.
Click
Edit next to the Honours
and Awards entry you wish to edit.
The Edit an Other Professional Experience dialog box appears.
Enter the name of the honour and/or award in the Honour / Award Name field.
Enter the name of the awarding body in the Awarding Body field.
Enter the year or years in the Year/s field.
Enter the description and/or monetary value in the Description / Monetary Value field.
If this falls into the category of engaged scholarship, ensure that the Engaged Scholarship check box is selected.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully updated.”
The Researcher Profiles – Honours and Awards page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Honours
and Awards listings by
priority.
