Procedure: Editing Invitations to Conferences

Introduction

Existing Invitation to Conferences entries may be edited or updated if required.  

Invitation to Conferences entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

Each Invitation to Conferences entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

  2. In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Invitations to Conferences sub-category.

  3. The Researcher Profiles – Invitations to Conferences page opens displaying the Invitations to Conferences listing.

Editing an invitation to a conference

  1. The Edit an Invitation to Conference dialog box appears.

Saving the edited invitation to a conference

  1. The Researcher Profiles – Invitations to Conferences page reopens.

  2. If necessary, click rp_updownarrows.gif up / down arrows under Change order to sort the Invitations to Conferences listing by priority.
