Existing Invitation to Events entries may be edited or updated if required.
Invitation to Events entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.
Each Invitation to Events entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour. This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.
Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.
In the Researcher Profiles – Home page, click Invitations to Events sub-category.
The Researcher Profiles – Invitations to Events page opens displaying the Invitations to Events listing.
Click
Edit next to the Invitations
to Events entry you wish to edit.
The Edit a Invitation to Event dialog box appears.
Enter or select the Event Type extendable select field.
Edit the event location in the Location field.
Edit the event date or dates in the Date/s field.
Edit the event description in the Description field
If this falls into the category of engaged scholarship, ensure that the Engaged Scholarship check box is selected.
Click Save & Close.
The following message displays briefly: “Information was successfully updated.”
The Researcher Profiles – Invitations to Events page reopens.
If necessary,
click up / down arrows under Change
order to sort the Invitations
to Events listing by
priority.
