Overview: Working with third party details

Policy

Before adding a third party, Third Party System users must always run a search for the third party to prevent duplication of third party numbers and third party entries. If a third party exists then the third party's access can be renewed.
When adding or editing a third party, to ensure that the third party affiliation is not duplicated or edited unintentionally, always search for an existing affiliation before adding a new affiliation.
Third parties must not have contracts which last for longer than six months. If a third party needs to have access to UCT facilities for longer than six months, then their access must be renewed on the Third Party System using the procedure below.

Requesters Authorizers	Request	Request the addition of a new third party account with requested access in accordance with their third party role at UCT. . See: Requesting access for a new third party
Authorizers only	Review	Review any third party requests sent to you as an authorizer. See: Reviewing an access request for a new or existing third party
Requesters Authorizers	Help	Open the Third Party System online help in a new browser window or tab to get help. See: Standards: UCT online help
Requesters Authorizers	Request access for third party	Request access for an existing third party account from the Search Results section of the Third Party Search page. See: Requesting access for an existing third party
Requesters Authorizers	View third party details only	Request access for an existing third party account from the Search Results section of the Third Party Search page. See: Viewing an existing third party
Authorizers only	Download to CSV	Download search results to CSV file. See: Downloading a report (authorizers only)
