The UCT Research Portal website is located at https://researchportal.uct.ac.za/ .
Access to the Researcher Profile and Scholarly Outputs modules is via the UCT Research Portal website and one logs in using one's UCT network credentials (i.e. UCT staff-, student- or third party number and network password).
UCT academic staff members are assigned a researcher profile on the UCT Research Portal website by default and do not need to request access.
The following roles may be made a proxy for UCT academic staff members and be given access to edit one or more designated researcher profile/s via the Research Portal:
UCT non-academic (PASS) staff,
any person with a third party system ID (T-number) and/or
current UCT students.
Current UCT students, who qualify as researchers, may also have their own researcher profile if their supervisor applies on their behalf for their researcher profile to be created via the Research Office.
