Procedure: Deleting a Book Authored

Introduction

Existing Books and eBooks Authored entries may be deleted if required.  

Each Books and eBooks Authored entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Scholarly Output context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the UCT Research Portal website with your UCT network credentials.

  2. Click Scholarly Outputs.

  1. In the Scholarly Outputs – Home  page, click Books and eBooks category.

  2. The Scholarly Outputs – Books and eBooks page opens with the various Books and eBooks Authored listings on the page.

  1. Click rp_delete.gif Delete next to the Books and eBooks Authored entry you wish to delete.

  1. A message dialog box confirms: “Are you sure you want to delete this?”

  2. Click OK to delete this entry.

  1. The Scholarly Outputs – Books and eBooks page reopens.

  2. The deleted entry is removed from the Books and eBooks Authored listing.
