You will only need to carry out this procedure if the Exact Duplicate Scholarly Output link is displayed on the Scholarly Output - Upload Results page.
If the scholarly output record which has been uploaded in a RIS file is an exact match with an existing (previously uploaded) scholarly output record, then:
the record will not be imported.
a warning message to this effect will be displayed on the Scholarly Output - Upload Results page.
a link to the Exact Duplicates page will be provided where one can view the Exact Duplicate Scholarly Output records.
You need to have uploaded a RIS file.
The scholarly output record, contained within the uploaded RIS file, must have be identified as an Exact Duplicate in order for the link to the Exact Duplicates page to be displayed.
After you have uploaded your RIS file to the Scholarly Outputs, the Scholarly Output - Upload Results page opens.
Click Exact Duplicates.
The Scholarly Outputs – Exact Duplicates page opens.
View the following information about the exact duplicates:

Click Close.
The Scholarly Outputs – Home page reopens.
