Procedure: Viewing Incomplete Records

Introduction

You will only need to carry out this procedure if the Incomplete Records link is displayed on the Scholarly Output - Upload Results page.

f the scholarly output record which has been uploaded in a RIS file does not have either the Title or Author / Contributor field completed, then:

• the record will not be imported.

• a warning message to this effect will be displayed on the Scholarly Output - Upload Results page.

• a link to the Incomplete Records page will be provided where one can view the Incomplete Records.

Before you begin

• You need to have uploaded a RIS file.

• The Scholarly Output record, contained within the uploaded RIS file, must have be identified as an Incomplete Record in order for the link to the Incomplete Records page to be displayed.

Procedure

1. After you have uploaded your RIS file to the Scholarly Outputs, the Scholarly Output - Upload Results page opens.

2. Click Record Incomplete.

2. The Scholarly Outputs – Incomplete Records page loads.

• View the following information about the incomplete record:

• • Title

  • Author/s

  • Editor/s

  • Type

  • Incomplete Citation

• Click Close.

3. The Scholarly Outputs – Home page reopens.
