Overview: Honours & Awards

Introduction

The Honours and Awards sub-category is where one may list any honours, awards or other forms of recognition one may have received in the course of one’s professional career.

Each entry is listed by Honour / Award and the Awarding Body.

Each Honours and Awards entry requires at least the Honour / Award Name to be entered.

There is no restriction on the total number of entries you may add.

Existing entries may be edited / updated subsequently, if required, or deleted.

Entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CVs and displaying on websites.

Each subsequent entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour. This formatting is only used within the eResearch Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

Compulsory fields	All fields which are UCT compulsory fields are noted by * All fields which are NRF compulsory fields are noted by * If synchronisation with the NRF is required, completion of the National Research Foundation (NRF) fields is mandatory. For more information, see: NRF funding overview (external link). Note: Not all academics/researchers require synchronisation with the NRF
Free text fields	Title free text fields are restricted to 100 characters. The NRF Summary text is restricted to 5500 characters. Other free text fields are restricted to 500 characters and have no limit on type of character input.
Check box	Check boxes are square selection options. When selected, a check box contains a tick (check) mark. When cleared, a check box is empty. Clicking in the check box toggles the appearance of the tick (check) mark.
