Overview: Summary Profile

Contents Hide

Introduction

The Summary Profile sub-category allows for the creation of multiple Summary Profile entries as well as an NRF Summary.

Summary Profile

One can create multiple Summary Profile entries which can each be used in different contexts and various outputs, such as website or CV.  There is no restriction on the total number of Summary Profile entries you may add.

Each Summary Profile must be assigned a descriptive title in the Title field and an assortment of relevant keywords in the Keywords field.

The text of the summary itself is entered into the rich text Summary field.

Existing Summary Profile entries may be edited / updated subsequently, if required, or deleted.

Summary Profile entries may be manually sorted into a logical order which will be used when generating CV’s and displaying on websites.

Each Summary Profile entry on this page will be listed in a new row and will be displayed alternately in a blue / black font colour.  This formatting is only used within the Researcher Profile context and purely for ease of visual display of multiple entries.

NRF Summary

One can create a single NRF Summary on this page used solely for the NRF purposes. It may not exceed a maximum of 5500 characters and any input beyond the maximum 5500 characters will be truncated.

If synchronisation with the NRF is required, completion of these National Research Foundation (NRF) fields is mandatory.

The NRF Summary is purely text based and does not support formatting of any kind.

An existing NRF Summary may be edited / updated subsequently, if required, or deleted.
